Shchurevych O. The system of banking regulation and supervision in the open economy of Ukraine.

The peculiarities of banking regulation and supervision system functioning in Ukraine covered. Structural model of effective banking regulation has been developed. The author formulated proposals regarding improvement of the mechanism of the Ukrainian banking system liquidity regulation based on the procedures of commercial banks refinancing. The basic principles of public bank control were developed. The main directions of regulation of the activities of the banks with foreign capital in Ukraine were offered. А structural scheme of the current state of the banking sector capitalization was elaborated. The experience of developed countries banking systems was considered and possibilities of its implementation into the domestic banking system were examined. In particular, the author conducts the analysis of the peculiarities of European cooperative banks functioning.
