Vataha V. Evaluation of the risk factors and prevention of acute forms of ischemic heart disease in patients without dyslipidemia in the family doctors’ practice

The dissertation is devoted to the study of traditional and additional risk factors of ischemic heart disease in patients without dyslipidemia. In the first phase of the study was the analysis of the prevalence of traditional risk factors of ischemic heart disease in patients with acute coronary syndrome which depends on lipid metabolism indices and determination the prevalence of acute coronary syndrome in patients without dyslipidemia. The second phase of the study according to the survey of 104 patients with acute coronary syndrome and patients without ischemic heart disease identified the frequency of ischemic heart disease risk factors (uric acid, fibrinogen, C-reactive protein) and their impact on the development of atherosclerosis and coronary artery disease in patients without dyslipidemia. Relationship between ischemic heart disease and surrogate indicators of atherosclerosis (the intima-media thickness and ankle-brachial index) was established in patients with acute coronary syndrome without dyslipidemia. On the third phase of the study was developed the method of predicting cardiovascular complications and the algorithm evaluation of cardiovascular risk and prevention of acute coronary syndrome in patients with normal lipid metabolism in a family doctors’ practice.
