Essay

The thesis is devoted to solving of a scientific problem of microbolometer satellite camera spatial resolution enhancement without placing of additional units into the device by processing obtained with subpixel displacements images due to its own motion of the satellite. Mathematical model of microbolometer camera is examined, spatial and energy resolution criteria are determined. Subpixel image registration method for camera’s spatial resolution enhancement is proposed. Mathematical model of subpixel image registration, mode parameters calculation technique are developed. Mode parameters of subpixel registration are analyzed by created software and the most effective mode for shooting conditions is chosen. Theoretical and experimental research of impact of subpixel image registration to camera’s spatial and energy resolution is provided.
