Olefir I. Adaptation of Ukrainian banking system to the features of the financial-economic space

Theoretical and methodological principles of banking system adaptation are investigated, its essence and meaning is determined in the dissertation. The classification of banking system adaptation types is improved and systematized. The content of the «financial-economic space» concept is specified. Methodological approaches to the determination of financial-economic space features are explored. Approaches to the formation of the banking system adaptation mechanism to the features of the financial-economic space are determined. The most characteristic forms and methods of adaptation of Ukrainian banking system at the each stage of its development are determined. The functioning of institutes of Ukrainian financial-economic space are analyzed and their resource support as well. Monetary and regulatory factors’ influence on the Ukrainian banking system adaptation is determined. The methodical approach to calculating the speed of the beginning of banks’ adaptation to changes in the financial-economic space has been proposed. The methodical approach to assessing banks’ economic capital has been improved. Recommendations on improving the toolkit of adaptation of the Ukrainian banking system to the features of the financial-economic space are given.
