The thesis is devoted to the complex pharmacognostic study of Primula veris L. herbal raw material and to pharmacological activity of the substances from cowslip leaves and rhizomes with roots. On the basis of the research the technology of obtaining thick extracts from cowslip leaves and rhizomes with roots and Quality Control Methods for them were worked out. The pharmacological actions of thick extracts (anti-inflammatory and expectorant) were evaluated.
