Essay

Object: the Polish speech of youth of the western regions of modern Ukraine. Objective: to find out how the deviations from the general Polish norm in the Polish speech of youth and the sociolinguistic factors of its functioning influence the communicative competence of the speakers. Methods: descriptive analytical, field investigation, comparative, comparative-historical. Scientific novelty: for the first time the language and communicative peculiarities of the analyzed variant of the Polish language have been investigated, taking into account their illocutionary-perlocutionary effect. Practical value: the results of research may be used in teaching of the Polish language, its teaching methods, in special courses on Polish dialectology, speech etiquette, in manuals and textbooks writing.
