Retrospective analysis of the results of clinical and radiological examination of 170 patients (96 (56.5%) males and 74 (43.5%) women) aged 18 to 60 years. Patients were divided into two groups by age: 1 group - 18 to 35 years old; II group - from 36 to 60 years. Injured of men in the groups was 1.6 times higher than that of women (p <0.01). For the reproducible evaluation of the healing of the diaphysis fractures bones of shin, the RUST system was used for all types of fixation. At the age from 18 to 35 years, 50.0% of the diaphysis fractures bones of shin increased in terms of up to 4 months; 33.3% - within 5-6 months; at the age of 36-60 years, the callus formation for 4 months, ended only in 37.3% of cases, within 5-6 months - in 46.3% (p <0.01). Total for 8 months observations to achieve complete jointing with oblique fractures were achieved in 88,8% of patients, with spiral - at 85,8%; at transversal - 74,9%; at fragments - at 48.0% (p <0.001). Complications in the healing of fractures were noted in 32.3% of the injured, among them the slowly joining fractures - 74.5% (p <0.001); formation of a false joint - 34,5%; development of chronic osteomyelitis - in 18,2%; others (deformation of the axis of the bone, presence of bone defect) - 14.5%. At fragmentary fractures complications of reparative osteogenesis are diagnosed in 52,0%. The combination of several complications was noted in 41.8%; in the young age, complications of RGD are diagnosed in 27.5%; in middle age - in 35,6% of cases (p <0,05). The standardized X-ray technique for evaluating fracture compound (RUST) has been improved. The most informative X-ray parameters for predicting complications of DPKG have been developed.
