Object of research – transversally loaded joints of composite aviation details; research objective – reduce the mass and increase the bearing capacity of transversally loaded joints of aviation parts from polymer composite materials (PCM); research methods and equipment – classical theory of layered PCM, methods of finite elements, methods of experiment planning and static processing of research results; theoretical and practical results – effective modifications of design solutions (DS) of joints; empirical dependencies for determining the strength of transversal-reinforced PCM; calculation dependencies for determining the stress-strain state (SSS) of a transversally-loaded joints; areas of possible relationships of stresses and elastic modules of materials of components included in the joint; recommendations for fatigue life of typical DS transversally loaded joints; novelty – a method of designing transversally-loaded joints; the method for calculating the physical-mechanical characteristics of a layered transversally reinforced PCM is improved; model of the definition of the SSS of the formed micro-fixing element in the PCM package in the conditions of transversal loading; the degree of implementation –"ANTONOV" COMPANY , National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute"; branch – aviation industry.
