The dissertation is devoted to the improvement of theoretical positions, the development of theoretical foundations and practical recommendations for the search and implementation of ways to improve the product innovation policy of food industry enterprises. Modern approaches to the essence of product innovations are investigated. The role of product innovation policy in the strategic management of the enterprise has been determined. Critically considered scientific and methodical approaches to determining the effectiveness of innovative food policy of food industry enterprises. The factors of formation and role of innovation climate in the implementation of food innovation policy of food industry enterprises are investigated. An estimation of the level of stability of the stereotype of perception of products of food enterprises. The effectiveness of food innovation policy at food industry enterprises is determined. The specific principles of implementing the food innovation policy of food industry enterprises are substantiated. The elasticity of the price from the average estimation of the level of stability of the stereotype of perception of innovative products of food enterprises is determined. Priority is given to improving the components of innovative product policy.
