Essay

The aim of the dissertation is to improve the results of treatment of patients with recurrent varicose veins of the lower extremities by identifying the anatomical and hemodynamic types of the varicose disease, investigating the errors of primary surgical interventions and pathomorphological factors of the disease development, choosing the optimal method and volume of the operation. The results of the examination and surgical treatment of 100 patients with varicose veins and 85 patients with recurrent varicose veins of the lower extremities are analyzed. Based on the study of anatomical and hemodynamic peculiarities of the disease development, the tactics of treatment of patients with recurrence of varicose disease were determined. The use of advanced methods for the elimination of pathological venous reflux can prevent postoperative complications and reduce the risk of recurrence. The analysis of remote results of surgical interventions showed that maintaining a stable positive result of operations after 1 year in 74.29 %, after 3 years - in 60.66 % of patients.
