Essay

The aim of dissertation work is an improvement of results of surgical treatment of lower extremity varicose vein disease (LEVVD) by application of the endovenous electric welding (EVEW) for the removal of pathological veno-venous reflux in the great saphenous vein (GSV). As a result of researches certainly, that EVEW provides creation of the controlled zone of the high frequency modulated electric current in inlightening of GSV, by a result what an occlusion is due to denaturation of blood and venous wall. A management algorithm and optimal parameters of clinical application of method a recertan. It is a set that for the removal of pathological veno-venous reflux in the GSV the offered method is not less effective, then endovenous laser ablation (EVLA), but has more perfect ajgorithm of management and accompanied by considerably more subzero heating of GSV, that allows twice to decrease the volume of tumescence anaesthesia. The well proven efficiency of EVEW is in relation to veins, the diameter of that exceeds the recommended for EVLA (>15 mm). The significant reduction of operation duration, a decrease of frequency and recurrence period of ecchymoses and paresthesias are found out during the usage of EVEW.
