Author identifies the current state of problems related to prevention of crimes against property in construction area. Place of non-state security sector subjects in prevention system is established. Key areas of foreign practices use to ensure the construction process security are grounded. Criminological features of its qualitative and quantitative indicators are provided along with the essence of determinants, classification of persons involved in commission of crimes and victims. Proposals are drafted regarding improvement of social and specific criminological measures aimed at prevention of crimes against property in construction area including interaction of law enforcement with non-state security sector subjects.
