In the dissertation research the complex theoretical analysis of the current state of management of land resource potential of the territories of Ukraine is carried out, improving its methodological principles and assessing the economic efficiency of its improvement on the basis of the analysis of the level of well-being. The historical features and modern tendencies of land relations development in Ukraine are investigated. The economic welfare theories are analyzed in detail as the basis of the efficiency and equity of the public distribution of land resources. The world experience in managing the land resources based on the level of socioeconomic welfare has been studied and the methodology and research methodology are presented. The land-resource potential of Ukraine as a spatial basis for the development of society and the factor of economic growth are analyzed. The methodological foundations of the study of management of land resource potential of territories are determined. The essence of the estimation of the efficiency of management and use of land-resource potential of territories is revealed. The present trends and new factors of the management of land resource potential of the territory of Ukraine are determined. The organizational-methodical mechanism of land resources management on the basis of socio-ecological and economic factors is proposed. The mechanisms of optimization of land relations based on the analysis of the level of welfare (antitrust regulation of the land market, fiscal regulation of economic concentration of land use, regulation of transactions in the land market, redistribution of land resources of public ownership) are presented. The ecological and economic efficiency of model application is calculated.
