Essay

Thesis for the degree of Candidate of economic sciences by specialty 08.00.04. - Economics and management of enterprises (by types of economic activity). - Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. - Kiev, 2018. The thesis is devoted to the adaptation of methodical approaches and applied tools of crisis management (CM) for construction contracting enterprises (CCE) as executors of general and specialized works when implementing real investment projects. For the purposes of the CCE, the innovative (in terms of content, analytical design and applied areas) tools of preventive (pro-crisis) diagnostics are presented, justified and implemented, which determines the component of anti-crisis management. This diagnostic tool is introduced as a basis for taking further measures to eliminate the possibility of a crisis (if the crisis state for this CCE is not detected) or for immediate economic and organizational-administrative measures (if the results of the diagnosis have revealed the onset of a crisis). It is substantiated that in the analytical format of the created toolkit, the level of anti-recessionary capacity should be used as a formalized indicator of reliable assessment of the urgency and scale of crisis measures: the current state of approaching (removal) of the given enterprise to a crisis state - from the state ρ = 1 "the exemplary level of crisis resistance" (LCR), which reflects the high level of competitiveness of pr the recommended strategy is to "continue the vector of productive activity in this segment") - to the worst state estimated by the RAKS, ρ = 5. The rational strategy of the CCE belonging to the state ρ = 6 is the complete and steepest curtailment of CCE activities in this segment of the construction market. The scientific and methodological advantages of the created toolkit of crisis management are: -methodological unity and systematic consideration of scientific and practical problems of CM for construction contracting enterprises (CCE), which is realized through the joint use of all components of the toolkit in the form of a chain of decision-making - a methodological subsystem and a concept → basic principles → an expert-euristic subsystem → a diagnostic apparatus → an interpretative apartment → CM; - use of new operational decision-making technology for CM CCE on the basis of an essentially modernized calculation and analytical system for diagnosing the crisis for the conditions of CCE; - clear formalization of all stages of the CM;- the resulting indicator of the toolkit is used both to identify the ability of the CCE to overcome crisis phenomena and as an additional analytical indicator, provides external decision-makers (customers and developers) to assess the comparative competitiveness of the CCE in the process of tender selection of executing companies. The development of a subsystem that, as part of the toolkit, provides a mapping of the general state of the level of crisis resistance (LCR) for all subjects (executing companies) of the construction project, belongs to the applied advantages of the created software product (and accordingly the practical value of the results obtained). This gives grounds for the customer and developer, using the created software product, to choose among the numerous variants of the calendar schedule and the budget of the project the most profitable and at the same time the least risky for implementing companies alternative to the implementation of the construction and investment project. An important applied component of the research is the developed solutions for updating the contents of business processes and the typology of organizational management structures for CCE. This update is defined in the work as a pledge of growth in business process productivity and a factor of synergistic growth in the level of crisis resistance of the contractor. Keywords: construction contracting enterprise (CCE), crisis management (CM), level of crisis resistance (LCR), diagnostics, construction project, functional strategies of crisis measures.
