The financial sphere in which illegal financial operations negatively affect the financial and economic security of the state. Scientific substantiation of the development of the national system of public administration in counteraction to the legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime, based on European experience. Methods: content analysis, comparative analysis, structural analysis, analogy and extrapolation. The complex approach to the development of the national system of public administration in the field of combating the legalization (laundering) of the proceeds from crime is substantiated. The results are implemented in the practice of public administration.
