Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the comprehensive study of the legal acts of Ukraine and the development stage of legislative initiative in the field of preventing corruption. The display of corruption for Ukrainian society can pose a threat to democracy, development and establishment of civil society that is ready to take part in forming government policy. This dissertation is divided into three sections that can be characteristic as follows. In the first section the attention is focused on the content that is embedded in the concept of corruption since the period of antiquity to today allowing it to qualify as a legal fact. Despite the inadequacy of national legislation in preventing and fighting corruption, it is useful to improve activities that contribute the improvement of the level of legal culture and legal education of population. Also the articles of dissertation are carried the monitoring of statements of Ukrainian legislation that regulate public servant’s behavior and reform acts that can be done by government in this sphere. The attention is focused on non-existence of a term “professional ethics” in Ukraine legislation as a main component of righteousness institution.
