Stechyshyn A. Legal views and state-building activities of Kostya Levytsky.

The biography, scientific-legal, advocacy and state activity of the doctor of law, the first chairman of the government were researched The West Ukrainian People's Republic Kost Levytsky. The scientific and legal heritage of the scientist includes a significant number of research areas, including developments in the field of state and law history, Austrian civil procedural law, ethical issues, the rights of the Ukrainian language, legal regulation of business associations, unions, rural lending offices and the history of Ukrainian statehood the time of the liberation struggle. The contribution of K. Levytsky to the legislative activity of the ZUNR was determined through the preparation of the Laws «On Soym», «On Civil Rights» and the Land Law, as well as in the area of constitutional law, the result of which was the draft Constitution of the ZUNR. K. Levitsky's contribution to the development of legal terminology has been proved by preparing a thorough legal dictionary of German-Ukrainian terms, which provided significant assistance to the Ukrainian population of Austria-Hungary in protecting their rights. K. Levitsky's contribution to the development of political and legal studies through the development of military doctrine, the history of the ZUNR and the biography of Ukrainian politicians are shown. The work of K. Levytsky in parliament and in the Halych district court is considered by preparing requests, appeals and speeches aimed at protecting the Ukrainian population.
