The research submit out a theoretical substantiation of the problem of preparing future teachers of elementary classes to study spatial relationships and geometric shapes. The features of the content and organization of geometric training of future primary school teachers are investigated; the content of the concepts «geometric preparation», «geometric competence» and «geometric component of mathematical culture» of future teachers of elementary school are determined; the content of the criteria (axiological, cognitive, praxeological, control and evaluation), indicators and levels of geometric training of future primary school teachers in accordance with the competency requirements of the New Ukrainian school is determined. On the basis of the revealed specificity of professional mathematical preparation of bachelors of elementary education, a structural model of the training of future teachers of elementary classes for the study of spatial relationships and geometric figures has been developed. The design of the structure, content, methodology and methodical support of the geometric training of future teachers of elementary school students has been designed. The content covers a set of issues that represent the constructive development of the basic concepts of the school course of geometry in the context of their practical (and interpersonal) applications, which are due to the professional activity of the elementary school teacher.
