Essay

The thesis deals with the physiological and hygienic description of the working conditions of operators bottling non-alcoholic and low-alcohol drinks, as well as assessment of their aging and health status, determination and forecasting of occupational risks for them, and scientific substantiation of preventive measures. It has been established that the main harmful factor of the occupational environment of bottling operators is the constant, broadband noise exceeding MAL at medium and high frequencies (500-8000 Hz). Sound levels exceed the allowable values by 4.4-7.23 dBA. In general, the working conditions of bottling operators are pertained to 3.2 class in accordance with the current Hygienic Classification. The analysis of the materials of periodic medical examinations revealed statistically significant increase in the incidence rates of the sensoroneural hearing loss and circulatory system diseases. Assessment of the biological age indicators revealed the sharply accelerated rates of aging in bottling operators. The examination of the auditory analyzers state in bottling operators revealed a hearing impairment on the tones of 8 - 16 kHz. According to the data of short-latency and long-latentcy auditory evoked potentials, violations in the central (brainstem and cortical) parts of the auditory analyzer have been diagnosed. According to the data of rheoencephalography, examined workers have a violation of blood circulation in the vessels of the brain. The assessment of professional risk has allowed providing a quantitative prognostic assessment of the persistent hearing impairment development probability, depending on the record of service. It has been established that the threshold of seniority, the excess of which leads to a sharp increase in the likelihood of hearing impairment, is a seniority of 8 years. The performed research has made it possible to develop a complex of preventive recommendations.
