Essay

This thesis is dedicated to the research of obligations in the sphere of tourism. Primary attention in thesis is drawn to the categorial apparatus of the tourism sphere in regard to the legal regulation of tourism relations; the main stages of development and legal support of tourism in specific countries, at the international level, and in Ukraine; different types of tourism and the importance of dividing tourism into types; analysis of the provisions of the concept of sustainable tourism development and analysis of the sources of regulation of relations in the field of tourism for the purpose of drawing deeper conclusions as to obligations in the sphere of tourism in the modern information society. This thesis gives an analysis of the concept, features, and the legal nature of obligations in the sphere of tourism as well as their composition, types, and features in Ukraine. This thesis substantiates the importance of dividing tourism into an organized and unorganized (avocational, amateur) types and taking into account their distinctive features while determining the types of obligations and contracts. The thesis provides a definition of the concept of obligations in the sphere of tourism as well as definitions of such categories as "tourist product", "tourism product realization", and others. This thesis performs a detailed analysis of a contract as the main cause for the emergence, modification, and termination of obligations in the sphere of tourism as well as an analysis of the specifics of non-contractual obligations in the sphere of tourism in Ukraine.
