Essay

Dissertation is devoted to a complex criminological characteristic of engaging minors in criminal activity and its prevention in Ukraine. The dissertation enhances scientific understanding of contemporary state of engaging minors in criminal and other antisocial activity providing characteristic of its quantitative and qualitative indicators. For the first time a typology of offenders committing engaging minors in criminal activity has been elaborated. The work characterizes the following criminological types of victims of engaging minors in criminal and other antisocial activity. The work defines, describes and explains criminological and victimological factors of engaging minors in criminal activity, which encompass of cultural-psychological, economical, organizational-administrative, legal, medical-social factors. The dissertation furthers scientific knowledge on peculiarities of general social, special criminological and individual preventive measures for engaging minors in criminal and other antisocial activity.
