Essay

Object of research is the process of ensuring the safety of the use of unmanned aerial vehicles; goal of the research is to increase the safety level of unmanned systems by creating a information technology using optical means; research methods - methods of organization of computational processes and computer experiments for testing and researching the safety of motion of unmanned systems; methods of probability theory and mathematical statistics; mathematical methods of optimization, methods of transformation and image analysis; methods of mathematical morphology. The results - on the basis of developed methods and algorithms, an information technology is created that functions together with the control system of unmanned aerial vehicles and provides information on motion parameters and the presence of mobile obstacles in real time. The developed information technology is used as a means for autonomous correction of inertial navigation systems in addition to satellite navigation systems. Another important result is the application of the proposed methods for calculating the optical stream, which enables the processing of measurements in real time; novelty - the method of estimating the field of motion vectors is improved, which, unlike other methods, is based on the calculation of a dense optical stream with the weighing of measurements of the image blocks, which allows taking into account texture features of the underlying surface and increasing accuracy; the method of navigating an unmanned aerial vehicle is improved using estimates of dynamic motion parameters according to the data of the optical stream of the camcorder, which, unlike other methods, uses the field of motion vectors with texture analysis of images, which allows to improve the accuracy of the trajectory formation the of motion; improved information technology for ensuring the safety of unmanned systems by optical means, developing and using software tools for evaluating the optical stream in video sequences of data and their processing to make a decision that enables to increase the security of unmanned systems; method of detecting dynamic obstacles is got further development by using the optical means and the optical stream analysis with the weighing of image blocks and hardware accelerators, which allows to detect obstacles in real time; the degree of implementation - the results are implemented at the State Enterprise "Research Technological Institute of Instrumentation"; in LLC "MPS DEVELOPMENT" in the form of software based on the developed methods of information technology during the design and creation of on-board automated control system for unmanned systems; in the educational process of the National Aerospace University named after N. Ye. Zhukovskiy "Kharkiv Aviation Institute", field of the application - information technology for safety of unmanned system.
