Essay

The object of the study - seborrheic dermatitis. The aim - to increase the effectiveness of treating patients with seborrheic dermatitis by developing a comprehensive therapeutic approach based on the study of the status of vitamin D, the state of innate immunity and microbiocenosis of the large intestine. Methods: clinical, immunological, immunoenzyme, bacteriological, statistical. The dissertation is devoted to optimization of treatment of patients with seborrheic dermatitis. For the first time in patients with seborrheic dermatitis, vitamin D deficiency (insufficiency and deficiency), humoral and cellular factors of congenital immunity (decrease in the content of cathelicidin and neutrophil activity) have been established. Dysbiosis of the microflora of the large intestine in patients was characterized by a decrease in the number of obligated microflora and an increase in opportunistic microorganisms. The expediency of using the therapy of patients with vitamin D3 and synbiotics is substantiated. The method provides an increase in the effectiveness of treatment, reducing the number of relapses by 2.7 times, lengthening the remission by 1.8 times compared with similar indicators in patients with the use of traditional treatments. The main scientific and practical results of the dissertation work were introduced into the medical practice of the SE "Institute of Dermatology and Venereology of the NAMS of Ukraine", MIHC Regional Clinical Skin and Venerological Dispensary No. 1 (Kharkiv), MI "Zaporizhzhia Regional Skin and Venerological Clinical Dispensary" of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, MIHC "Kharkiv City Skin and Venerological Dispensary No. 4", as well as in the educational process of the Department of Dermatovenereology of Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education of Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Department of Dermatovenereology and Cosmetology with course of dermatovenereology and aesthetic medicine of faculty of postgraduate education Zaporizhzhia State Medical University of Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
