Yanko V. Criminal liability for crimes against the basis of the sovereignty of the Ukrainian people

The dissertation is devoted to the research of problems of interpretation, application and perfection of criminal legislation which provides for responsibility for crimes against the basis of the sovereignty of the Ukrainian people (Articles 109, 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The concept, general characteristic and mechanism of legal regulation of relations on maintenance of national sovereignty, the state of scientific development of criminal legal protection of the foundations of Ukrainian people's sovereignty, foreign experience and social conditionality of criminal responsibility for encroachment on the basis of the sovereignty of the people are considered. The legal analysis of constituent elements of crimes against the basis of the sovereignty of the Ukrainian people was carried out, as well as a comprehensive analysis of the relevant criminal-legal consequences. Proposals on the improvement of the current legislation on criminal liability for the studied crimes are formulated.
