The theoretical approaches to determination of the nature of an insurance service in agrarian business as an economic category have been generalized, specific features have been identified and the stages of formation of insurance services in agrarian business determined, the methods for assessing insurance services in agrarian business have been developed, recommendations on improving the institutional and legal provision of insurance services in agrarian business of Ukraine have been made, the current state and trends of insurance services market development in the agricultural business of Ukraine have been described, the concept of an insurance service as an innovative element of the agricultural business insurance has been developed, practical advice on applying new approaches in the formation of insurance services in the agricultural business has been suggested in the thesis paper.
