Essay

Based on the analysis and generalization of analytical and bench studies, it has been proved that the presence of a stepped change in the cross-section of the shell of the rimming bit, and in its combination with the rod, is a major factor in reducing the mechanical speed of the drilling of the compensating wells and the short life of the drilling tool. The ways of increasing the mechanical speed of drilling and productivity are determined, among which the most effective is to increase the degree of transmis-sion of waves of deformation to the destructive elements of the rimming bit due to changes in the geometry of its body and the choice of rational structural parameters. On the basis of the received researches, a new structure of the rimming bit ex-tender at the inventive level has been developed and substantiated. The conducted ex-perimental-industrial tests have confirmed the reliability of the results established during modeling and bench studies.
