Kaziyev S. Methods of treatment of patients with venous type of erectile dysfunction (ED).

The thesis is devoted to the efficacy of the treatment of venous erectile dysfunction in men by the mechanism of venous circulation disturbances, development of their diagnostics and the development of new approaches to the treatment of venoocclusive erectile dysfunction. Developed additional criteria for evaluating functional disorders of penile hemodynamics in the venoocclusive form of erectile dysfunction on the basis of dopplerographic and cavernosographic studies. The principal difference between violations of proximal and distal venous outflow in etiopathogenesis of the veno-occlusive form of erectile dysfunction is established. It was scientifically reasonable indications, methods and technique of Marmar's operation in patients with venooclusive type of ED firstly and also proximal type of venous outflow. Optimal method of treatment for patients with venocclusive type of ED and distal type of venous outflow is X-ray occlusion of pathological venous shunts through deep dorsal vein.
