Essay

The thesis is devoted to solving the scientific and applied problem of increasing the traffic control systems efficiency by developing models of decision making. The analysis of traffic control systems functioning, the existing decision-making support systems and the evaluation criteria of traffic efficiency were carried out. Assessment of ATCS compliance structure to the goals of it's functioning on the basis of carried-out system analysis was carried out. An approach was proposed for determining the permissible range of the TF intensity changing, which allows DM to choose correct impact type for ensuring effective functioning of SRN. The decision-making models were developed in the form of decisions trees on the basis of the utility theory provisions, and weight estimates of the decisions tree branches were offered to reduce accidents from OT actions and costs for their implementation. The choice of the OT measures on the developed models changes the traffic efficiency.
