The dissertation is devoted to a large number of socio-psychological problems, the accompanying process of boarding school socialization of giftedness teenagers, which contribute to increasing the anxiety and aggressiveness. Every child needs an individual approach, help in capacity discovery, forming a holistic harmonious personality.Subjective well-being is not only an indicator of mental stability, transitional states of adaptation-disadaptation and resources of stress resistance, but also has a fundamental importance for improving the processes of general and educational socialization, conducting applied research, as well as solving other problems. The urgency and insufficient development of this problem led to the choice of the topic of the dissertation study: "Psychological factors of subjective well-being of adolescents in the conditions of a specialized boarding school". The analysis of scientific literature on the research problem suggests that the phenomenon of "subjective well-being" is a complicated, multi-perspective, interdisciplinary concept, which occupies a major place in philosophy, sociology, psychology and pedagogy. As a result of the generalization of scientific literature on the problems of the dissertation research, it was stated that it was customary to differentiate between two approaches to the problem of subjective well-being: hedonistic and eudemonistic. Under study of the adolescents basic psychological characteristics, depending on the education form, it is established that adolescents studying in the institution of the residential type of the physical and mathematical direction have an average level of anxiety, with predominance of self-assessed anxiety, have a praxical, romantic and gnostic emotional orientation, have a non-obvious level of personal non-adaptability, average level of self-actualization, high level of subjective well-being and its components, such as personal growth and positive attitude. The main factors of subjective well-being for pupils of physical and mathematical lyceums are: personality adaptation, altruistic and gnostic emotional orientation, low level of school anxiety and level of self-actualization. Among the factors of subjective well-being for the students of the Rusanovsky Lyceum, the level of adaptability and school anxiety is more important, and for the Ukrainian Physics and Mathematics Lyceum there is a general anxiety, as compared with others common to both lyceums (self-actualization, altruistic emotional orientation). Adapted students are characterized by high levels of praxis, altruistic, gnostic and communicative orientation, self-actualization and subjective well-being, personal growth, the presence of goals in life and positive attitudes towards others, and low levels of anxiety. Therefore, to increase adaptability and subjective well-being, as its direct dependent element, psychologists of primary schools should pay attention to these indicators, reinforcing them through training psychological exercises. As a result of the model introduction of the of subjective well-being development factors of pupils, significant changes were recorded on the main indicators of subjective well-being. In particular, the training effect is illustrated by positive changes in indicators where there is a relatively higher level of personal adaptability, autonomy and factors of subjective well-being, and reduced level of anxiety. Also, the use of exercises contributed to the development of the self-actualization trend, the praxis and gnostic emotional orientation.
