Shalahai S. Justification and evaluation of the effectiveness of pleurectomy in patients with pleurisy of specific and nonspecific genesis

The purpose of the dissertation is to substantiate and study the effectiveness of performing various types of pleurectomy in patients with pleurisy of specific and nonspecific genesis. The use of various types of parietal pleurectomy depending on the duration of the disease have been substantiated, and indications for the implementation of various types of pleurectomy have been developed. It was established that the application of the developed method of videothoracoscopic pleuerectomy allowed to significantly reduce the number of postoperative complications by 31,2 %, increase the overall efficiency of the transaction by 13,0 %. The application of the developed method of pleurectomy using thoracotomy resulted in a decrease in the level of postoperative complications by 48,3 %, increasing the overall efficiency of the operation by 19,7 %. The application of the developed method of video-assisted pleurectomy led to a reduction in the number of postoperative complications by 35,3 %, increase the efficiency of the operation by 20,1 %.
