The aim of the study: synthesis and development of theoretical and methodological foundations, development of practical recommendations for the management of labor potential of industrial enterprises. The object of the research: processes of labor potential of industrial enterprises. Methods: theoretical generalization; clustering, classification, system synthesis, system approach; statistical analysis, induction and deduction. The following was improved: approaches to creating employment potential; the mechanism of formation of labor potential business entity; the concept of "professional school" industry; scientific and methodological principles to the formation of labor potential; scientific and methodical approach to estimate the employment potential; methodical approach to determine the effectiveness of labor potential. The following received further development: definition of employment potential; features of labor potential at industrial plants; method of forming pro-labor potential. Scope: industrial enterprises.
