Essay

The dissertation for obtaining the scientific degree of the candidate of technical sciences on the specialty 05.17.07 - Chemical technology of fuel and fuel and lubricants. - National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, Dnipro city, 2018. The dissertation is devoted to the expansion of the raw material base of coking due to the use in the charge of low-grade low-metamorphosed coal of the mark of DH as one of the components of the coal charge, as well as thelargest and coking coal component. In this paper, a critical analysis of domestic and foreign ways of expanding the raw material base of coking is carried out. The coal component of weakly coarse coal of different density was investigated by dilatometric and plastometric methods, IR spectroscopy, laboratory coking. In results, it was found that the fraction of a certain density isolated from weakly sparing coal has the necessary properties. The character of the influence of fraction of weakly impurity on the quality of the received blast furnace coke has been established and described. The technological regimes of obtaining a fraction of weakly coarse coal of a certain density and further introducing it into a coal charge during the production of coke have been developed. The recommendations of the composition of the coal charge with the admixture of the fraction of weakly volatile coal for the formation of optimal properties of the blast furnace coke have been worked out, confirmed by the results of laboratory coking at PJSC "Dniprovsky Coke Plant" . The developed technological regimes for the separation of poorly sparing low-metamorphosed coal of the mark of DH on the fraction and its further use can be used in coal-fueled and coke-chemical enterprises with coal enrichment and production of coke containing fractions of weakly sparing coal of a certain density. Key words: coke, weakly cooled coal, fraction, coal charge, density, technological properties, laboratory coking, coal extraction.
