Essay

In dissertation research the theoretical analysis of scientific approaches is carried out in relation to the study of the phenomenon of self-affirmation in psychology. Marked, that self-affirmation of personality in preschool age is determined by the level of her independence, confidence in itself, by a positive estimation itself and own possibilities, curiosity, communicativeness, co-worring and participation, by successes or failures with playing and educational types of activity, by authority among yearlings. Criteria of estimation, corresponding by him indexes, levels and strategies of self-affirmation of children of preschool age are justified. It is set an empiric way, that most children demonstrate destructively-dominant and inert strategies of self-affirmation. The analysis of gender-age-old features of self-affirmation witnessed the presence of certain differences: for the boys of junior preschool age prevails destructively-dominant and destructively-adaptation strategies in educational and playing activity, for girls are inert and destructively-dominant strategies; for the boys of senior preschool age it is observed destructively-dominant and destructively-adaptation strategies of self-affirmation in educational and playing activity, for girls – inert and structural. Influence of self-affirmation is empiric investigational on development of personality of preschool children. Efficiency of the program of forming of structural self-affirmation of junior and senior preschool children is confirmed by quality and quantitative changes in self-affirmation and personality development that is expressed in the increase of their confidence in itself, opening and strengthening of individuality, independence, positive perception itself, to the presence of positive changes in emotional and motivational spheres, increase of level of pinness, curiosity, decline of level of anxiety and aggressiveness. The cross-correlation analysis of the got results of research convincingly led to determining influence of self-affirmation on the level of personality development of junior and senior preschool children. Thus, forming of structural self-affirmation of junior and senior preschool children is the important and qualificatory factor of their personality development.
