Essay

The dissertation contains a solution of actual problem of modern dentistry – an improvement of medical care provision to adult patients with acute odontogenic jaw periostitis in outpatient conditions in form of development the diagnostic and treatment algorithms based on clinical and laboratory parameters. Clinical and laboratory studies have proven the feasibility of a developed outpatient treatment scheme that provides for clear routing of patients with acute odontogenic jaw retinitis, depending on age, the condition of the "causal" tooth, the severity of the course of the disease, and the effectiveness of the therapy. The scheme of medical treatment includes antibacterial agents of the group of semi-synthetic penicillines (or cephalosporines) with the addition of ftorhinolones in individuals from the age of 55 years, the complex non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug "Flamidase" and the local application of the ointment "Traumeel S"; with regard to "causal" tooth should apply the principle of organ conservation. Peristotomy on the upper jaw with complete evacuation of purulent contents can be performed without subsequent drainage by graduates; in the case of intraoral drainage of purulent wounds to their washing appropriate to apply chlorhexidine 0.05% or 0.02% decametoxine.
