Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the aspects of creation of information technologies for the purpose of qualitative analysis of the situation, forecasting and optimization of the development of objects of energy infrastructure. The complex approach to research on electricity generating capacities of energy companies according to the types of electricity generating technologies is analyzed; information technology in order to diversify and optimize the structure of generating capacity has been created. The procedure for evaluating the factors of the internal and external environment influencing the electricity generating structure using the analytical hierarchy process and within the framework of quadratic optimization task under linear constraints and qualitative analysis is used. A comparative analysis of the results of the application of information technology for electricity generating capacities indicates a discrepancy between different countries. At the same time, it is highlighted that, in accordance with the goals of the companies and taking into account the trends of the energy market, the optimal structure of the electricity generating capacity would depend on the economic and political availability of fuels during the next decade (decades), the predictability of the price of the generated electricity, and state support.
