BURDEHA R. Criminological characteristics and prevention of recidivism of criminality in the Black Sea region of Ukraine

The dissertation has been devoted to criminological analysis and development of effective measures to prevent recidivism of criminality in the Black Sea region of Ukraine. The formation and development of the ideas of the prevention of recidivism of criminality in the territory of Ukraine and abroad have been explored. The essence and social-legal assessment of recidivism of criminality have been produced. The quantitative and qualitative parameters of recurrent criminality in the Black Sea region of Ukraine have been established. The criminological description of the person of the offender committing recurring crimes in the territory of Odessa, Mykolayiv and Kherson regions has been given. The peculiarities of determination of recidivism of criminality in the Black Sea region of Ukraine have been highlighted. The foreign and domestic experience has been generalized and a complex of general social and special-criminological measures to prevent recidivism at the regional level has been proposed. The most important in modern conditions directions of improvement of prevention of recurrent crime in the Black Sea region of Ukraine have been determined.
