Vikonskyi V. Implementation of the ideological function of law in the modern legal system of Ukraine.

The theoretical analysis of the concept and features of the legal consolidation of the functions of modern Ukrainian law at the world-wide legal and special-legal levels is carried out. It is established that the peculiarities of the legal consolidation of the functions of modern Ukrainian law are in close connection with those political and legal realities in which the national legal system of Ukraine is transformed. Having analyzed the main approaches to the classification of modern functions of Ukrainian law, it was established that ideological function has an important place in these approaches, taking into consideration its persistent nature and regulatory and value potential. The essential characteristic of the ideological function in the system of modern functions of Ukrainian law has made possible to distinguish the main historical stages of the formation and legal consolidation of this function of law in Ukraine by differentiating the peculiarities of its application in a particular historical epoch. Also, the study provides the author's vision of the goals and objectives of the ideological function in the context of the formation of the legal system of Ukraine, as well as its valuable content, which is important for the further formation of the legal ideology of the state, is analyzed. The study of functional features and directions of the implementation of the ideological function of law in Ukraine allowed distinguishing ethnonational and cultural factors of this process, marking political and legal determinants, as well as socio-economic conditions for the implementation of the ideological function in the legal realities of the present-day Ukraine, which also dictate the necessity of harmonizing the norms of the domestic legislation with international legal standards taking place with the involvement of the ideological function of law.
