Shevchuk Y. Financial support of the health insurance development in Ukraine.

The dissertation is devoted to the deepening of the theoretical foundations of medical insurance financial provision. The economic essence and role of medical insurance in the system of social protection are found. Principles and specifics of functioning of medical insurance financing models are revealed. The factors and regularities of evolutionary changes in the development of medical insurance and its financial support in foreign practices are studied. The general condition and structure of health financing sources are analyzed. The analysis of the development factors for the market of medical insurance and level of its financial support is carried out. The legal and regulatory framework of medical insurance financial provision of is described. The directions of balancing the interests of participants of the medical insurance system are determined as the key directions of its financial support improvement. Also we outlined the prospects for increasing the level of development and coherence of compulsory and voluntary insurance in the system of medical insurance financial security. Recommendations on the development of public-private partnership in the context of developing financial support mechanisms for health insurance have been developed.
