Mahatadze K. Leaving in danger and failure to aid a person who is in a life-threatening condition: criminological research.

The thesis is the first in the domestic criminological science for a special comprehensive investigation of crimes in the form of abandonment in danger and failure to provide assistance to a person in a state of danger to life. It examines the social basis of criminalization, quantitative and qualitative indicators, determinants of the crime of the investigated type, personal qualities of those who commit such crimes. The question of the regulatory functions of the dispositive structure in the context of abandonment in danger and failure to provide assistance to a person in danger is investigated. The factors influencing the formation of dispositions of different levels are established. According to the results of the study, scientifically substantiated proposals for the application of social, informational, and organizational measures for the prevention of crimes of the investigated species are determined.
