Essay

The dissertation examines the phenomenon of musical thinking in its scientific-discursive representation and artistic-compositional piano reproduction, it is determines the main imaginative components of piano-performing thinking and their semantic conditionality. The categories of image and meaning as factors of semantic order and unity of piano-performing thinking are studied and emphasized by consistently discursive and analytical ways. The unity and separation of musical and performing approaches to musical semantics, connection of concepts of meaning, comprehension, image and concept in the theory of musical thinking are revealed; the genre-style specificity of piano-performing thinking is revealed, the concept of piano semantics in the interaction with the conditions and the conditionality of the performing text is detected. The value of performing conceptualization as the final stage of comprehension in piano music is proved, historical mission of romantic tradition is described in the formation of imaginative and semantic parameters of piano creativity. The imaginative modalities of piano creativity are defined as a transfer semantic mechanism between the performing and composite expression systems.
