Mamushkina A. Compensation of harm for victims of terrorist acts: civil law aspect

The research reveals the legal nature of the obligation arising as a result of damage by the terrorist act, describes the grounds and conditions of civil responsibility for causing harm as a result of the committing a terrorist act, highlights the origin of the legal regulation of harm-doing relations as a result of the committing of a terrorist act. There is investigated in an integrated manner the subjects of the harm-doing obligation by the terrorist act. The considerable attention in the work is devoted to the identification of compensation for harm methods caused by the committing of a terrorist act. There is determined the compensation amount for damage caused as a result of comitting of a terrorist act. The features of defence of the rights of terrorist acts’ victims in the practice of the European Court of Human Rights have been identified.
