Essay

A range of issues related to regulatory and legal support and organizational activities aspects of the Soviet special services in 1939-1945 is considered for the first time in historical and legal science in the thesis project. The comprehensive study of this topic in the dissertation format was caused by the lack of researches in this area. Security bodies play the role of one of the most important factors in ensuring the stability of an independent state, instrument for neutralizing the external and internal forces acting against it, as well as means of law enforcement. In the states of the authoritarian and totalitarian model, special services act as punitive and repressive body and go far beyond the constitutional scope.
