Essay

The dissertation solves an important practical scientific problem aimed at increasing radio signal measurement accuracy in navy radar systems considering tropospheric impact in conditions of inhomogeneous navy environment. An analytic model for consideration of tropospheric impact at radar signal is proposed in the dissertation for the first time. This enables calculation of radar cross-section (RCS) of navy objects. The model of calculating external perturbations influence at receiving of radar signal were further developed considering tropospheric perturbations above navy surface. Moreover, the navy object RCS determination method in navy radar systems based on external impacts consideration was improved. It enables increasing waterborne traffic navigation safety. Imitation modeling was preformed during the scientific research confirming agreement of the obtained results with known data.
