Object - mechanisms of reparative regeneration of defects of bone tissue; purpose - find out the mechanisms of reparative regeneration of bone tissue in artificially created intersecting defects of the lower jaws of rats when applying bone-plastic material on the basis of hydroxyapatite and polylyaccid with various percentages of components; methods - biochemical, morphological and morphometric, X-ray, mathematical and statistical; results - it was established that healing of bone defect under the influence of the proposed resorbing material on the basis of hydroxyapatite and polylactide is more effective than healing of the defect only under the blood clot; when applying the material with an aspect ratio of 80% to 20%, the anatomical form of the lost area is restored, but the processes of the final formation of the mature secondary bone scar are slowed down; application of osteoimplant with a ratio of 50% to 50% optimizes the formation of an organic matrix of bone and promotes its faster mineralization; however, despite the complete filling of the defect, there are signs of incomplete recovery of the anatomical form of the lost area of ​​the bone.
