Shkolyi I. Legal Basis for State Participation in Foreign Economic Activity

The thesis presents a study of the legal basis of the state participation in foreign economic activity. The work gives consideration to the legal regulation of relations in the field of foreign economic activity, in particular legal definitions of foreign economic activity, its features, principles, system and the legal status of subjects of foreign economic activity, legal regulation of the state’s participation in this activity. It reveals elements of the legal status of the state as a participant of foreign economic activity, the problem of its dualism and forms of legal liability of the state in the field of this activity. It was carried out the research of the legal basis on direct participation of the state in foreign economic activity in some countries of the European Union that is accompanied by suggestions on implementing relevant practices for Ukraine. The analysis of the state of harmonization of the Ukrainian legislation with the EU legislation in this area of legal relations was carried out as well.
