Melnik V. Legal Restrictions in the Activity of Law Enforcement Agencies: Theoretical and Legal Aspect

The author of the dissertation has provided theoretical and legal characteristics of legal restrictions in the activity of law enforcement agencies. The author has revealed specific features of the evolution of scientific and theoretical ideas about restrictions in the activity of law enforcement agencies in the national legal literature of the pre-Soviet and Soviet times. The current scientific and theoretical approaches to understanding the concept of “restrictions in the activity of law enforcement agencies” have been generalized. The purposes and functions of these restrictions have been provided. The classification characteristic of restrictions in the activity of law enforcement agencies has been offered.
