Essay

University education of England and Wales is the research object. The research aim is to identify peculiarities of professional training of Bachelors of Arts in Political Science in university education of England and Wales and to develop scientific and methodological recommendations on the use of English and Welsh ideas and experience at the universities of Ukraine. The research methods: analysis and synthesis, induction, deduction and generalization, classification, systematization, comparison and critical reflection, observation, poll. For the first time the peculiarities of professional training of Bachelors of Arts in Political Science at the universities of England and Wales have been identified; professional training of Bachelors of Arts in Political Science has been presented as a current pedagogical issue; on the basis of the developed structural model organizational and pedagogical conditions of professional training of Bachelors of Arts in Political Science have been researched; on the basis of comparative pedagogical analysis, common and distinctive features of England, Wales, and Ukraine have been identified; scientific and methodological recommendations on the use of advanced ideas of English and Welsh experience in university education of Ukraine have been developed. The notions “Bachelor of Arts in Political Science”, “Political Science specialist” have been clarified. The ideas of organization of professional training of political science specialists based on the complex use of traditional and innovative teaching and learning methods in combination with information and communication technologies, close collaboration of universities with the local community and prospective employers have gained further development.
