Transport-forwarding service in modern conditions is a whole complex of services, without which no transportation of various categories of goods can be carried out. Over the past decades, freight forwarding has undergone a significant transformation, and today the freight forwarder in many cases acts as the organizer of cargo delivery systems, coordinating the transportation of goods by various modes of transport, linking many participants in the transport process.
Modern freight forwarding services involve the use of logistics principles in the organization of cargo delivery processes. Modern understanding of the management of delivery processes suggests the following: in the processes of organizing the delivery of goods, coordination is ensured for all sites and participants in the delivery process, timing, delivery technologies, information support, and minimizing transportation costs for specified time conditions. In the process of delivery of assorted cargoes, it is ensured the formation of cargo lots in a format convenient for the client, the disbanding of cargo lots, the delivery of cargo space to the client, coordination of all sites and participants in the delivery process of the assembly lot and each package.
Practical implementation of the logistical management of goods delivery is achieved through the use of relevant principles, as well as information systems, their own storage areas and vehicles.
In this thesis we have developed a set of methods and models, in accordance with the logic of the processes inform decisions on the development of transport and forwarding services in view of the uncertainty.
The process of development of a transport-dispatch service is first structured on the base of modern classification of transport-dispatch companies and morphological method, taking into account the features of modern market of transport services;
- a two stage going is worked out near the ground of parameters transport and ware-house making the infrastructures of a transport-dispatch company in the process of her development. For the first stage the model of determination of the aggregated parameters of infrastructure of dispatch is worked out in the conditions of vagueness, for the second is a model of planning of ware-house network and ground of park of transport vehicles. In a difference from existing, such approach takes into account logic of practical realization of processes of development, and models reflect the specific of work of a transport-dispatch company in full.
Got further development:
- it is a method of ground of variant of development of a transport-dispatch maintenance of freight transportations in the conditions of vagueness. This method as combination of operations above fuzzy sets and method of pairwise comparison of Saati is adapted for the choice of direction of development of a transport dispatch service by drawing on the complex of corresponding criteria, that extends the borders of the use of the known method;
- method of determination of parameters of freight base in the process of development of the system of transport-ware-house maintenance of a transport-dispatch company. In basis of method is a category "transport-logistic potential of region". The structure of freight base takes into account the existent freight base of a transport-dispatch company and prognoses of development of transport connections of the examined regions. The calculation formulas of parameters of material stream consist of the determined and casual component, that reflects the features of forming of volume of work for a transport-dispatch company in the process of her development.
Classification of transport-dispatch companies, that corresponds to modern maintenance of a transport-dispatch service and situation at the market of transport services, is improved.
