Biloshytskyi E. Improvement of the operation of heating and ventilation systems for passenger carriages

The dissertation is devoted to improvement of functioning of systems of heating and ventilation of passenger carriages by developing scientific bases the choice of optimization measures for life support systems and hardware with increased energy efficiency of these systems, without reducing the quality of microclimate in passenger carriages. Theoretically and experimentally investigated factors, which influence the efficiency of the process of forming the parameters of the microclimate in the passenger rolling stock. On the basis of the performed theoretical and experimental studies the actual scientific task for improving the functioning of the heating and ventilation systems of passenger cars is solved by numerical experiment on the basis of the simulation model, which reproduces the thermal mass, heat loss through enclosing structures, and the operation of heating and ventilation systems in conjunction with experimental studies and generalization of the results obtained for an object in general. Methods of increasing efficiency and energy efficiency are determined, which can be realized on existing constructions of passenger wagons. The proposed methods for improving heating systems are easily implemented and do not require significant investment; energy efficiency of their implementation is 27.4%, this gives grounds for reducing the power of the heating system by at least 25%.
