Chebanova J. Landscape and Environmental Substantiation of the Regional System of Natural Resources Optimization in the Region of Zaporizhzhya.

The dissertation is devoted to the development of theoretical and methodological as well as methodical principles of landscape and ecological research of the regional agricultural use on the basis of the Region of Zaporizhzhia in order to substantiate the system of measures for optimizing their ecological status. The author substantiated the necessity of achieving the optimum norm expressed by means of ecological, social and economic efficiency of the use of land and other types of natural resources in accordance with their ecological capacity and the stability of natural ecosystems. Landscape analysis of the territory of the Zaporizhzhia region was carried out. Within the landscape areas, the indicators of the degree of agrarian load, the coefficient of their anthropogenic transformation and the indicators of unfavorable natural processes were calculated. The correlation between the indices of anthropogenic and agrarian loading and the intensity of manifestation of adverse natural processes was revealed. The system of landscape and environmentally sound optimization measures, aimed at the removal of degraded arable land and reducing the manifestation of adverse natural processes, combined with the transition to a soil and water protection system of agriculture with the restoration of existing and the creation of new field-protective forest bands was introduced.
